The students, who had permission from their teacher to work on the project, were using a disabled Airsoft gun with an orange tip, was clearly a toy.
As reported by The Metro West Daily News, while walking around the school, working on the project, the students were seen carrying the disabled gun.
This was reported to the administration, who then had the resource officer remove the gun prop from the school grounds.
According to a statement released by Superintendent Brad Jackson, none of the students will end up facing any disciplinary action over the incident because they had the teacher’s permission to do the project.
